RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUND POLICY
Village Tech
At Village Tech, customer satisfaction and fairness are at the heart of everything we do. This Returns, Exchanges & Refund Policy explains your rights and our responsibilities when you purchase tech gadgets from us.
1. GENERAL POLICY
Village Tech sells original and quality tech products. Due to the nature of electronic
devices, all sales are considered final except under the conditions outlined below.
We encourage all customers to carefully inspect products at the point of purchase.
2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS OR EXCHANGES
You may be eligible for a return or exchange if:
- The product has a manufacturing defect confirmed by Village Tech technicians
- The issue is reported within 7 days of purchase
- The product is unused, in original condition, and includes:
- Original packaging
- All accessories
- Original receipt
- The device has no physical or liquid damage
Note: Returns or exchanges after 7 days fall under our 6-Month Warranty Policy and will be handled as a warranty claim.
3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Products with physical damage, liquid damage, or signs of misuse
- Devices that have been opened, repaired, or tampered with by unauthorized technicians
- Display-related damage (cracked or scratched LCD/OLED screens)
- Accessories such as earphones, chargers, cables, or cases (unless defective at purchase)
- Products returned without proof of purchase
4. REFUND POLICY
Refunds are issued only in exceptional cases, at the discretion of Village Tech, where:
- A defect is confirmed
- Replacement or repair is not possible
Refund Conditions:
- Refunds may be issued as:
- Store credit, or
- Cash refund (where applicable)
- Refund value will be based on:
- The purchase price
- Product condition
- Time elapsed since purchase
Processing Time: Approved refunds may take up to 7 working days to complete.
5. EXCHANGE POLICY
If your product qualifies:
- You may exchange it for:
- The same model, or
- An equivalent product of equal value
If the replacement product has a higher value, the price difference must be paid by the customer.
6. WARRANTY-BASED RETURNS (AFTER 7 DAYS)
Products returned after 7 days but within 6 months of purchase are handled under the Village Tech Warranty Policy.
Depending on assessment results, Village Tech may:
- Repair the product
- Replace it with an equivalent item
- Issue store credit based on current value
Warranty claims may take up to 10 working days, depending on parts availability.
7. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE
- Visit any Village Tech store with your product and receipt
- Or contact us via WhatsApp for guidance
- Our technicians will inspect the product before approval
